Linda's Birthday

It was Linda's birthday yesterday (31st again) and the whole Southern Hemisphere family met up at the olds for tea. Had a lovely lamb dinner - with the usual quality gravy - and having the whole clan there was great.

Caitlin was looking really well, and thoroughly enjoyed the company of the two kiddies - especially her "Cuz" Molly. Mark turned up with his girlfriend Theresa and only added to the fun. Theresa works at an old folks home and had been doing Xmas Wishes dressed as a fairy - Molly promptly stole the outfit and went round granting wishes herself.

We stayed after everyone else left, which culminated in me falling asleep on the sofa with my littlest girl. The weather here is extraordinary at the moment, beautiful and quite too hot. Having Molly has meant a number of trips to the park or beach so I've developed a lovely brown colour.

Aloise has a dummy now - it was just too much for Clare to breastfeed and attend to Molly - she is also being bottlefed after Clare expresses. There's a lovely picture of Clare here - she is really looking fantastic and so happy.

Aloise is a pretty good sleeper, and after initially being a screamer has settled into a weird cry that sounds quite comical. She's obviously a blond and has blue eyes, a really really pretty baby.

It's funny - Clare and I were talking yesterday and both thought (to ourselves) that Aloise was pretty terrible looking for the first 24 hours, I really couldn't say why. But once the first day was over, and the gore was cleaned off I guess - she really is quite stunning. I can't wait till she's running around with her sister causing mischief!!
